host is French by birth, and he
was raised in this region of
France. Returning to his native
country after many years living
and running businesses abroad,
Pierre now creates the Inn: Le Manoir
Belle Roche out
of his beautiful home and he
welcomes you to come and stay.
Owned by the family, Olivier,
this Manor house dates to 1667,
and through four centuries, the
estate and its secret tunnel have
stood the test of time through
seasons of royalty, revolution,
warfare and Nazi occupation,
romantic rendez-vous, as well as
recent renovations. Pierre
invites you - his special guests
- into his stately, spacious, and
historic Le Manoir
Belle Roche,
decorated with unusual antiques
from his many world travels.

English with a charming French accent,
and he is very easy to converse with. As
a businessman, Mr. Olivier
resided more than 30 years in the United
States and Canada. A U.S. Citizen and a
native of France, Pierre is the ideal
French and American host in this Loire
Valley River region full of French
folklore, 1,000 chateaux and castles, and
many other engaging attractions.

- Pierre is an
entrepreneur - in such American
enterprises as real estate, retail, the
perfume business, fashion, and art
collecting. Pierre is a man of refined
taste who appreciates beauty in all its
forms ~ from fine works of art to
excellent wines and exquisite cuisine. He
is an accomplished chef, himself. Having
travelled throughout the world, Mr.
Olivier is quite knowledgeable about
international travel. He can offer
excellent suggestions on such travel
issues as: passports, car rentals,
regional tours and tour guides,
accommodations in Paris, airline or TGV/train
transportation, good food and wine ~ and
being French, helpful tips on how to
navigate the French language, culture and
etiquette.
